Atletico Ottawa has signed attacking winger Jordan Webb, who grew up in Oshawa and played youth soccer with Toronto’s East York Komets.
Webb’s pro career began in 2010 in the Singapore Premier League, with Hougang United, where he scored 34 goals in 88 appearances.
“Jordan Webb is going to be a special player for us,” said Atletico Ottawa CEO Fernando Lopez. “He is an experienced renowned player that has an innate ability to create chances and score goals and he has proven it throughout his entire professional career. He has been overseas for many years and now it was the right time to be back to his country and demonstrate to Canada what he is capable of.”
Webb joins Canadians Dylon Powley, Chris Mannella, Keesean Ferdinand, Milovan Kapor, Antoine Coupland, Ben McKendry, Brandon John and Malcolm Shaw and internationals Viti Martinez, Bernardinho, Tevin Shaw and Vashon Neufville on the Atletico side.
